Joan Hernández Pijuan

He is one of the most important Spanish painters of our time. The barren landscapes around Folquer in Catalonia formed the starting point for the creation of the work Com Un Camp Llaurat. Through reduction and simplification, Pijuan transformed his view of a ploughed field into a striking surface on the canvas.

The care with which this work was created is continued by us in a hand-knotted masterpiece made of pure silk. This special edition, limited to 150 pieces, is a tribute to the artist Joan Hernández Pijuan, a painter of silence.
