The colorful composition of this rug, designed in 1924, was the first and only knotted rug to be realized. They are painstakingly hand-knotted in Nepal from the finest virgin wool.
The carpet was designed by Gertrud Arndt in 1924. The re-edition of the carpet is based on the original wool yarns and original watercolor drawings, which are kept in the Bauhaus Archive in Berlin.
The carpet is also suitable as a wall carpet.
