The colorful composition of this carpet is a design from 1924 and was realized for the first time and only once as a knotted carpet. They are elaborately hand-knotted from the finest new wool in Nepal.
The carpet was designed by Gertrud Arndt in 1924. The re-edition of the carpet is based on the original wool yarns and original watercolor drawings, which are kept in the Bauhaus Archive Berlin.
