Hand-knotted carpet made of hand-spun Himalayan wool and bamboo fiber
The wool yarn comes from the mountains of the Kathmandu region. Virgin sheep's wool is traditionally used in Tibetan rug weaving. It is resilient, durable, and offers a beautiful natural color palette. The design is woven into the underlying wool. Slightly raised lines of bamboo silk partially conceal the design, lending the rug a beautiful elegance.
