Ruby Sphere

With "Sphère", Monika Hesprich places the rug itself at the center of the design. This large-format, hand-knotted unique piece is not merely a supplementary accessory, but a formative spatial element with its own identity and strong presence.

WHEN FORM TRANSFORMS SPACE

"Sphère" deliberately breaks with the classic rectangular form. Its free, organic silhouette dissolves rigid room edges and, in contrast, introduces an exciting, flowing geometry. Circles of varying sizes merge through subtle color gradients into a spherical unit, creating depth and dynamism. This results in a form that brings movement into the room while also appearing harmonious.

RUBY SPHERE – THE START OF A SERIES

"Rubinsphere" is the first iteration of this design. Inspired by deep ruby red tones, warm brown nuances, and soft beige accents, this version unfolds a special intensity and depth. The color gradients condense into a powerful, almost luminous presence that lends warmth and character to the room. At the same time, the composition remains harmoniously balanced and timeless.

Crafted in collaboration with DesignerCarpets Drechsle, this hand-knotted unique piece stands for the highest level of craftsmanship. The materiality of bamboo silk gives the rug an exceptionally fine feel and a subtle play of light that makes the highly elaborate color gradients appear vibrant.

Sphère questions classic structures and positions the rug as a functional art object that completely reanimates modern spaces.
