Striped rug by Sonnhild Kestler
The colourful stripes bring pure joy of life into any living space! An expressive rug that not only convinces with its captivating colour and form language, but also with its pleasant feel – and touches us individually in its uniqueness. The colours were specially mixed and combined by Sonnhild Kestler to create a colourful total work of art.
The challenge in producing the rug with over 160,000 knots per square metre lies in precisely implementing the colour transitions. The knotting of irregular transitions requires high precision and many years of craftsmanship training. This rug is manufactured in about 3.5 months, in over 10 work steps.
