3 Days of Design in Copenhagen - Our impressions of design, materials and colors

Thank you for your numerous visits to 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen! We are overwhelmed by your interest and enthusiasm for the art of carpet weaving.
We have summarized some impressions for you:
-
There is still a lot to explain about the art of carpet weaving and many unanswered questions - different techniques and qualities are available on the market. We remain convinced of the traditional knotting technique, the quality and the durability of these carpets and enjoy sharing our experiences and knowledge that we have gained over generations.
-
Natural raw materials are used for our handmade carpets. While local sheep's wool from the Himalayas or silk are very well known, hand-spun nettle, hemp or linen can give the carpets interesting plays of color and texture. We have shown these raw yarns and their appearance in the finished carpets. The great interest motivates us to impart more knowledge about the raw materials.
-
Numerous visitors stood in front of the collections by Sonnhild Kestler and Verner Panton and began to smile, take photos or talk about them. A sign that colorful carpets and designs are in demand and evoke positive emotions. We are already looking forward to many colorful and cheerful interiors!
