SPHÈRE – When carpet art becomes a sculptural spatial object

With "Sphère", the new design by Stuttgart designer Monika Hesprich, we present a unique hand-knotted piece that places the rug itself at the center of the design. It is not merely a supplementary accessory, but a defining spatial element with its own identity and a strong, sculptural presence.

The Art of Free Form

"Sphère" consciously breaks with the classic rectangular form. Its free, organic silhouette dissolves rigid room edges and creates a dynamic, flowing geometry. Circles of different sizes merge through subtle color gradients into a spherical unit that creates depth and dynamism. This creates a form that brings movement into the room while appearing harmonious.

"Rubinsphère" – The Powerful Beginning

The glamorous beginning of this new design series is marked by the color variant Rubinsphère. Inspired by deep, noble ruby red tones, paired with warm nuances of brown and soft beige accents, this rug unfolds an almost luminous presence in the room. It immediately imbues the interior with perceptible warmth, character, and timeless elegance, without losing its harmonious balance. 

Precision and Luxury in Every Fiber

Each hand-knotted piece stands for the highest level of craftsmanship and precision. The materiality of the bamboo silk gives the rug an exceptionally fine feel and a subtle play of light that makes the highly elaborate color gradients appear vibrant.

Sphère questions classic structures and positions the rug as a functional work of art that completely revitalizes modern spaces.

Each individual piece is crafted by hand in our manufactory in Nepal with the highest level of craftsmanship and precision, boasting a fine knot density of approx. 160,000 knots per square meter. Of course, the model is available made-to-measure and carries the Fair Trade certificate of Label STEP.
