3 Days of Design - New Exhibition in Copenhagen

3 Days of Design - Neue Ausstellung in Kopenhagen
16.05.2024

This exhibition invites visitors to deepen our perception and understanding of materials and to develop a new understanding of their meaning in the objects we create and consume.

The TRANSCENDENCE exhibition takes place in an industrial hall in the Refshaleøen district of Copenhagen where ship engines were once manufactured, and focuses on materials and sustainability.

Architect and curator Frederikke Aagaard will install a dreamy vision in this rather raw space, made of natural and recycled materials that will be reused after the exhibition. Through insightful installations and hands-on demonstrations, this exhibition invites visitors to deepen our perception and understanding of materials and develop a new understanding of their significance in the objects we create and consume. TRANSCENDENCE will bring together companies large and small, commercial and research, designers and artisans - all idealists who want to have an impact on the manufacture, procurement, distribution and longevity of design.

In keeping with the concept, we are showing our timeless designs and high-quality materials in this exhibition. The "Geometri" by Danish designer Verner Panton is one of his most famous designs. We are also presenting the new works by Swiss artist Sonnhild Kestler . All carpets are made by hand from Himalayan sheep's wool.

In addition to the carpets, we also present the steps of carpet weaving, techniques and materials.
