The art of color matching – how we perfectly integrate carpet colors into the interior concept

A custom-made rug is more than a design element – it is part of an overall composition. Its colors shape the atmosphere, connect materials, and give rooms depth and character. To ensure that every rug from our factory is not only manufactured to a high standard, but also is precisely integrated, we coordinate the colors with the utmost precision. Every nuance is examined, tested, and refined until it blends harmoniously into the interior's color concept.
There are three proven methods available for defining carpet colors – individually selectable depending on the project and design approach.
1. Color definition via color poms – real colors, real materials

Color poms are yarn samples that show every color nuance in the original material—not as a print, but as a textile. They allow for authentic, material-accurate color perception and form the basis for precise color matching.
From a variety of finely graded tones, we select the perfect nuance together. This allows us to see from the outset how light, structure, and material interact.
Colored poms in wool or viscose can be ordered or loaned from us. The digital version is available under the following link.
2. Coordination based on existing textile samples – perfect integration into the room concept

In many interior design projects, fabrics, upholstery, or curtains are already defined. In this case, the color definition is done directly based on the existing textile samples.
Our color experts analyze the color tone and develop a tailor-made color in the selected yarn blend that precisely captures the character of the existing materials.
The result is a carpet that doesn't complement the overall concept but rather becomes part of it – harmonious, precise and completely integrated.
3. Definition via color fan – color precision according to international standards

As a further solution for color definition, we offer work with color systems such as Pantone, RAL, or NCS. These enable standardized and reproducible color communication across all materials.
The desired shade is transferred to our yarns and produced as a physical sample. Only after mutual agreement and approval do we proceed to production – ensuring a result that precisely matches the defined color value.
In any case, we create a sample and a digital simulation of the carpet before manufacturing the entire carpet.
