Designercarpets at DDCATED 2025 in Copenhagen: Artistic carpet craftsmanship at the highest level

From June 18 to 20, 2025, Designercarpets will be part of the renowned DDCATED exhibition in Copenhagen – a platform for outstanding design. We are delighted to present two exceptional carpet designs at this inspiring event, impressively demonstrating the diversity and quality of our work.

“Streifenteppicht” by Sonnhild Kestler

With her " Streifenteppich ," Swiss textile designer Sonnhild Kestler showcases her signature style: a subtle interplay of colors. Inspired by traditional crafts and folkloric elements, the designs combine graphic clarity with emotional depth. In collaboration with Designercarpets, the design was realized as a high-quality carpet—a homage to the art of weaving in its most modern form.

“Five Elements” – A creation of the Designercarpets Studio

The “ Five Elements ” carpet is a conceptual work from our in-house Designercarpets Studio . Inspired by the five elements – Space, air, fire, water, and earth – these rugs translate natural forces into textile surfaces. Color gradients, structures, and textures speak of balance, movement, and energy. Each rug is unique, with a strong visual impact and, at the same time, an invitation to rest and reflection.
